Jagexblogger was founded by myself (Matt), with the intention of supplying people from the RuneScape community with guides and tutorials to help them through the game and to also create a community of people who’re willing to share their RuneScape experiences.

About me:

I’ve been an active RuneScape player for many years now (163 Days 16 Hours) and still counting! I have experienced many different things on the game, from the newbie days of witnessing a RuneScape player wedding in Falador Castle to single-handedly defeating the Corporal Beast. RuneScape has without a doubt come a tremendously long way since I first started playing and as it continues to get better I’d like to share my knowledge and experience with you in the form of regular topical blog posts to keep you in tune with whats going on.
My RuneScape hobby was introduced to me by a friend at school back in 2005, from then on I’ve been hooked, I found myself chasing every hour in the day just to gain a few extra levels.
Today things are much different, I have other commitments in my life which I find much more enjoyable, although I still manage to find some time to play when I’m free.

My username:

Back in 2005 when I created my RuneScape account it was originally named: “Matlock99“, as my name is Matt it’s the first thing that came to my head.
Since then I’ve tried many names and have finally found one I really do like, “Matlocked”. I’d only change this name if “Matlock” became available. There you have it the story behind my username.

What I enjoy doing:

Generally when I’m online I use my time to do something fun.. my idea of fun may be slightly different to you guys but for me PVM and PVP are where it’s at. Heres a few examples of the kind of thing I’m talking about:

• Slayer Tasks
• Killing Dwarf cannoneers
• Godwars Dungeon
• Welfare Pking (Edgeville)
• Reverent Caves/ Reverent Player Killing
• Corporal Beast
• Tormented Demons

Theses are the things I enjoy the most (so far) If anyone would ever like to join me my clan chat is always open!

Friends on RuneScape:

Friends make RuneScape that little bit more special. Giving you the incentive to be better, have items they could only dream of having and stats that’ll leave them speechless. But also friends come in great use! Finding a boss hard? having a hard time in the wilderness? stuck on a quest? all these things can generally be solved with the help of a friend, it really is amazing how much we rely on our friends in this game, imagine if they weren’t there..
